Lucia Rosane Bertholdo Vargas
Under Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Santa Maria, Brazil. With a Master's Degree in Biotechnology from the University of Caxias do Sul. She is an expert in molecular characterization of fungi and its application in biological control. With a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, with emphasis on protein characterization and its applications. She has more than 15 years of experience as faculty and researcher at the Institute of Biotechnology of the University of Caxias do Sul.
